Creating Meaningful Connections

Sedona Dances is a movement and wellness studio in West Sedona dedicated to bringing people together through music, dance, and immersive experiences. Our welcoming studio hosts joyful dance classes, guided movement sessions, and restorative sound and vibration relaxation experiences designed to support creativity, connection, and well-being.

We also provide silent headphone dance experiences for retreats, resorts, and private groups throughout Sedona. Using wireless headphones, participants can enjoy music and movement together in beautiful outdoor settings under the stars without external noise.

Our studio accommodates small groups and is ideal for dance classes, movement workshops, and wellness sessions. We also offer silent disco headphone rentals, sound equipment, and lighting for events and gatherings across the Sedona area.

Meet the Founders

Danielle McNeal Strabala

Co-Owner of Sedona Dances • Owner of Dynamic Dance Services • Artistic Director of Sedona Dance Project

Danielle McNeal Strabala is the co-owner of Sedona Dances and the owner of Dynamic Dance Services, where she offers dance classes for adults of all levels along with Pilates classes that support whole-body wellness and alignment.

With over 20 years of professional dance and teaching experience, Danielle McNeal (B.A. Dance) is a seasoned performer, educator, and visionary choreographer. She earned her degree from Arizona State University’s Dance Department, where she had the privilege of studying Ideokinesis under Pamela Mat. This influential somatic practice continues to shape her teaching philosophy—using imagery and internal awareness to awaken new movement pathways and enhance the body’s natural alignment and fluidity.

Danielle is also the Artistic Director of Sedona Dance Project, an innovative artistic experiment that blends the worlds of trained and untrained movers, inviting dancers of all backgrounds to step into meaningful performance experiences. Her work centers on movement as both expression and healing, which she shares through choreography workshops, community performances, and transformative guided journeys.

Through Sedona Dances, Danielle weaves together her lifelong passion for dance with the profound power of ecstatic movement. She leads Guided Ecstatic Movement Journeys: A Silent Sound Experience, offering immersive, soul-stirring movement explorations designed to reconnect participants with their bodies, creativity, and inner wisdom.

Brandon Strabala

Brandon Strabala’s journey into dance was one of personal transformation and profound healing. Having left the financial planning industry over a decade ago to follow his passion as an artist, Brandon found deep solace and expression in dance. He founded Orgone Knights, a creative endeavor focused on energy healing and artistic expression.

Dance became an essential part of Brandon’s emotional release and personal growth. After a decade of exploring various movement styles, he discovered Ecstatic Dance in Sedona—a life-changing experience that inspired him to cultivate a thriving dance community. Following the passing of his wife, an experience he shared in his self-published book and audiobook Dancing Beyond Cancer, Brandon honored her memory by hosting weekly dances on the Sedona Red Rocks. Since 2018, his dedication has helped shape Sedona’s vibrant dance culture, creating and supporting numerous dance experiences throughout the area.

After experiencing a Silent Disco event, Brandon recognized the potential of Guided Ecstatic Movement Journey using Silent Sound Experiences as a groundbreaking way to enhance dance gatherings—eliminating sound ordinance concerns and providing an inclusive space for those with sensitive hearing. Today, he works alongside Danielle in a dynamic partnership that blends free-form movement with structured choreography, creating a unique fusion of guided ecstatic dance.
